NOMAD: Northeast Music, Art and Dance Festival
http://www.geocities.com/nomadfest
NOMAD is the first all-volunteer participatory music, art and dance festival in Connecticut. Our goal is to provide an opportunity to experience and explore the incredible range of music, art and dance available in Connecticut (and throughout the Northeast)and open to all who are interested. Some of the finest dance leaders, performers, musicians and singers in the east come here to share their their heritage.  Each festival is unique because the program is formed by those who respond each year.  This is a family festival with programs designed for various age groups and levels of skill.  NOMAD is for doing. Everyone is encouraged to watch, listen, sing, and enjoy but the main focuse of our festival is participation.  This is the chance to try a new experience, or savor a favorite one.
